About Me

Conny Svanberg

Embroidery Application Specialist

For many years, I have been offering my skills in the area where experience, knowledge, and competence make a difference. That is the main reason why I started this consultant company.

My background in the embroidery industry started in 1996 when I first saw an embroidery machine.
Since 1997, I have managed five companies, focusing on machine embroidery and digitizing.
Heavily engaged in the embroidery business, I took part in forming SEA, a Scandinavian organization for professional embroiderers and digitizers. SEA mainly focuses on networking, education, and social activities, aiming to bring colleges in the business closer together.

In September 2019, we entrusted the business ownership of Svanberg Brodyr AB to new owners, Västkustens Tryck & Brodyr. They continue our mission to offer high-quality embroideries, screen printing, heat transfer printing, and laser cutting/engraving. Should you need any of their services, please contact them.

For the past six and a half years, my commitment has focused entirely on Coloreel AB. This Swedish innovation company develops and markets new technology for the embroidery business. This assignment began in January 2013, first at a distance and then physically at the head office in Jönköping, Sweden, from January 2018.

From September 2019 to September 2024, the assignment was full-time work with Coloreel Group AB, where I focused on developing their new technology. One of my positions was with the Coloreel Service & Support team. A huge task was to create a complete support system using Zendesk, including handling internal and external tickets, reporting, and helpdesk articles. I was also responsible for developing and planning training for technicians, including instructions and documentation.

I have been part of the Coloreel Product Management department for the past few years. A significant accomplishment was creating and publishing a complete e-learning system based on video tutorials: Coloreel Academy.

As part of my Product Management role, I was responsible for Coloreel’s Product documentation, including publishing, version handling, and storage.

Another part of the Product Management assignment was testing and evaluating third-party Coloreel tools for digitizing software and automation systems.

Apart from the achievements listed above, I have been involved in several thrilling projects and have loved every minute of my work with Coloreel.

Unfortunately, Coloreel AB declared bankruptcy this summer, prompting me to reach out to offer my services.
My expertise encompasses embroidery and digitizing, embroidery font creation, and automation systems, all complemented by extensive knowledge of Coloreel technology.
I am highly motivated and eager to contribute to any initiative that will develop the industry I am passionate about.
I would happily discuss how my skills and experience can benefit your company. I am open to any type of commitment, whether full-time, part-time, or hourly.
